🧑‍🎄 Christmas Shipping Cut-Offs 2023

When it comes to Christmas, we always say the sooner the better, and express is always best. However, below are the Australia Post communicated cut off dates:

Australia wide Standard Shipping - Order by 12th December.
Australia wide EXPRESS Shipping - Order by 18th December.
International Express Shipping - Order by 4th December.

🚚 Current Shipping Timeframes

We use Australia Post. Although current delivery times are difficult to estimate and not guaranteed, recent standard post delivery times remain between 7-10 working days Australia wide. Express Post deliveries is currently 3-5 working days for metro areas.  If an order is placed before 2pm AEDST it will be dispatched the same day. If placed after that time they will be dispatched the next business day. Parcels are not collected on public holidays so will leave the next business day. The exception is for Pre Sale items and heavy sale periods where there may be up to an extra 5 days prior to dispatch.

• As an ‘essential service,’ our couriers and Australia Post are delivering parcels to all states and territories in Australia.
• ‘Signature on Delivery’ parcels may be changed to Authority to leave in order to reduce the contact necessary between customer and driver and where the driver deems it safe and secure to do so. Delivery drivers will take a signature on behalf of customers if they wish.

We are a proud Australian company and we ship orders via Australia Post throughout Australia. We do also sell and ship internationally. International prices are below and quoted at checkout prior to payment.

Tracking advice from Australia Post is provided and will be sent to the primary email made with your order.

Tiny Tones ("we" and "us") is the operator of (https://www.tinytones.com.au ("Website"). By placing an order through this Website you will be agreeing to the terms below. These are provided to ensure both parties are aware of and agree upon this arrangement to mutually protect and set expectations on our service.

1. General
Subject to stock availability. We try to maintain accurate stock counts on our website but from time-to-time there may be a stock discrepancy and we will not be able to fulfil all your items at time of purchase. In this instance, we will fulfil the available products to you, and contact you about whether you would prefer to await restocking of the backordered item or if you would prefer for us to process a refund.

PRE-SALE ITEMS - From time to time we will offer pre purchase on certain in demand items. These items will be paid for in full at the time of the order and will be dispatched once available. Estimated stock arrival time frames are an estimate only and should any person be no longer happy to wait for the item, they may request a full refund at any time prior to dispatch. If a pre-sale order has additional available items, these items will be held for shipping until the pre-sale item becomes available.

2. Shipping Costs

We currently offer $9 Flat Rate standard Australia wide shipping. Free standard Australia wide shipping for orders over $190.

At other times shipping costs may be calculated during checkout based on weight, dimensions and destination of the items in the order. Payment for shipping will be collected with the purchase. 

2.1 *Tiny Tones may offer free or flat rate domestic standard shipping from time to time. Free or flat rate shipping offers do not include express or international shipping, unless specifically stated.

2.2 Express shipping is available for a fee.

Australia Post Express covers 80% of Australian business addresses, private addresses and Post Office Boxes.

Rates: Express shipping for < 500g is $12.50, 0.5 - 1 kg is $16 and 1-3kg - $19, 3-5 kg - $26, 5-10kg is $40.

If your item is for an address outside the Express Post network, we'll use the fastest possible transport links.

Please check the Australia Post delivery speeds & coverage estimate based on where you are located. Next day parcel delivery is not for all locations. Express post can take up to 5 business days for rural areas.

3. Delivery Terms 

3.1 Transit Time Domestically
In general, domestic shipments are in transit for 2 - 10 working days from dispatch.

3.2 Warehouse Hours and Dispatch
Our warehouse operates on Monday - Friday during standard business hours, except on national holidays at which time the warehouse will be closed. In these instances, we take steps to ensure shipment delays will be kept to a minimum. If an order is placed before 1pm AEST it will be dispatched the same day. If placed after that time they will be dispatched the next business day. Parcels are not collected by couriers on public holidays so will leave the next business day.
If you have purchased during a sales event, please allow an extra 2-3 business days for dispatch due to larger volumes. If you have particular timeframe to receive your order, please contact us prior to confirm at hello@tinytones.com.au or on our website chat feature. 

3.3 Change Of Delivery Address
For change of delivery address requests, we are able to change the address at any time before the order has been dispatched.

3.4 P.O. Box Shipping
Tiny Tones will ship to P.O. box addresses using Australia Post. 

3.5 Items Out Of Stock
If an item is out of stock, we will wait for the item to be available before dispatching your order. Existing items in the order will be reserved while we await this item.

3.6 Delivery Time Exceeded
If delivery time has exceeded the forecasted time, please contact us at hello@tinytones.com.au so that we can conduct an investigation.

4. Tracking Notifications 

Upon dispatch, customers will receive a tracking link from which they will be able to follow the progress of their shipment based on the latest updates made available by the shipping provider.

5. Parcels Damaged In Transit
If you find a parcel is damaged in-transit, if possible, please reject the parcel from the courier and get in touch with our customer service. If the parcel has been delivered without you being present, please contact customer service with next steps.

6. International Shipping

We sell and ship internationally. We use DHL and Australia Post for shipments outside of Australia, and DHL quotes a delivery time of 4-6 working days from dispatch to most international metropolitan locations. We commit to dispatching all international orders within three working days of order placement.

All international shipping costs quoted below are in AUD. You may change your currency using the currency option in the menu dropdown on the website. Prices are finalised at checkout, prior to payment, and are based on product weights. Below are price estimations but accurate prices will be calculated at checkout.

7. Duties & Taxes 

7.1 GST 
GST has already been applied to the price of the goods as displayed on the website.

7.2 Import Duties & Taxes
Import duties and taxes for international shipments may be liable to be paid upon arrival in destination country. This varies by country, and Tiny Tones encourage you to be aware of these potential costs before placing an order with us.
If you refuse to to pay duties and taxes upon arrival at your destination country, the goods will be returned to Tiny Tones at the customers expense, and the customer will receive a refund for the value of goods paid, minus the cost of the return shipping. The cost of the initial shipping will not be refunded.

8. Cancellations
If you change your mind before you have received your order, we are able to accept cancellations at any time before the order has been dispatched. If an order has already been dispatched, please refer to our refund policy.

9. Insurance
Parcels are insured for loss and damage up to the value as stated by the courier.

9.1 Process for parcel damaged in-transit
We will process a refund or replacement as soon as the courier has completed their investigation into the claim.

9.2 Process for parcel lost in-transit
We will process a refund or replacement as soon as the courier has conducted an investigation and deemed the parcel lost.
